Co-funded under the READYNOV call for projects, the European IQ DATA project aims to develop new GNSS data crypto-compression techniques for geolocation terminals certification. In this context, the consortium made up of CGX, SILICOM and M3 SYSTEMS companies and GUIDE and LIRMM research laboratories (Computer Science, Robotics and Microelectronics Laboratory of Montpellier) will carry out this project, which began at the end of the year 2019.
Endowed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) and the Occitanie Region, the IQ DATA project answers to an important challenge: to be able to market secure data that can certify geolocation terminals, in particular intended for the “Smart-City”. M3 Systems is in charge of the cryptography implementation but also of the GNSS data compression, thanks to its Record & Playback product, a recording real GNSS signals software belonging to its range of GNSS Test and Measurements, StellaNGC.
