A few weeks ago, we were pleased to welcome EUTELSAT, ESA and EUSPA teams for a demonstration of our real-time monitoring system for the new EGNOS GEO4 payload.
EGNOS, (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) is a performance-enhancing service for satellite-based geolocation systems. It enhances positioning accuracy and integrity and guarantees continuous geolocation performance service for critical applications such as aerospace.
We are a long-time partner of EUTELSAT, ESA and EUSPA, being already present in the GEO3 project with our real-time monitoring system. Our system is also capable for the new EGNOS GEO4 standards, and will offer additional signal monitoring means to EUTELSAT, operator of the European SBAS. Its ability to check the performance of EGNOS GEO3 and GEO4 payloads in real time makes this system an essential element in the EGNOS chain.
