Need
GNSS environment needs to be simulated, that’s why StellaNGC Simulation has been integrated into the CarMaker Simulation tool, in order to test navigation features.
Description of the project
Automotive test benches simulate different interfaces in order to test the vehicle behavior according to its environment. As GNSS components are becoming more and more widespread and necessary in the automotive sector, it is important to simulate GNSS environment in order to test vehicle’s navigation features. Therefore, StellaNGC Simulation tool linked with its closed loop functionality, has been integrated into the CarMaker simulation tool developed by IPG Automotive.

Development of an interface between both simulators in order to add GNSS simulation functionality to CarMaker simulator.
The results
StellaNGC Simulation interface and software has been developed, delivered and integrated into the final vehicle test bench.
