As part of its development, M3 Systems Belgium is looking for a Technical Project Management with associated skills in Aviation & ATM Project Management.
M3 Systems Belgium is willing to reinforce its position and to enlarge the scope of its activities first in the ATM domain. In this context, the company is seeking for a profile mixing project management competency and a high interest in business development.
The clear goals are: To realize Consultancy and services projects first in the ATM domain and sub consequently develop appropriate business.


Job description

Air Traffic Management is finding solutions to accommodate each day more crowded airspace, more complex traffic, a wider variety of aircraft with the overall goal to improve cost efficiency.

We are looking for a dynamic person to work on the future of Air traffic Management by participating in the latest activities defining the way tomorrow’s air traffic will be prepared, analyzed and handled. From innovative concept definition through validation, verification and all the way to deployment in operations, you will experience working in multi-cultural environment, get to understand the different point of view of air traffic actors and learn the main challenges of European ATM.

As a consultant you will be directly in contact with the clients for the definition, conception and validation of systems achieving all or part of the following activities:

  • Concept of operation
  • Requirement definition and management
  • Validation activities
  • Training and dissemination
  • Operational procedures
  • Deployment into operations

Most importantly you must be able to communicate at all levels, adapt to new environments and use your own initiative. You must be able to establish and manage relationships and instil confidence in customers.


    • Ensure the management and proper execution of the project in its area of expertise
      • Is in charge of the coordination of the technical decision process, as technical expert,
      • Evaluates the need for complementary expertise support
      • Brings innovative approach to overcome technical blocking points
      • Supports pre-sales activities to the definition of the requirements specification
      • Evaluates the potential evolution of customer’ needs and/or requirements and proposes contract update accordingly
      • Is in charge of the project management (planning, quality, costs…), respects deadlines and specifications, and ensures the profitability
      • Ensure the coordination with the segment manager to which the project is allocated
      • Respects the company quality process, deadlines and specifications
      • Prepare and maintain projects planning
      • Assure its activity and Market perspectives reporting


  • Be familiar with the usual project management tools (Microsoft Project and Office, … ) as well as resources and project management methodologies
  • Be capable of formal project process implementation (from KO to delivery) in compliance with the contract statements
  • Be capable to summarize and consolidate customer requirements/needs
  • Be capable to identify the project required skills (technical or not-technical)
  • Be capable to plan and to keep under control projects’ budget
  • Be capable to define objectives and to arbitrate time and priorities accordingly



  • Graduate in engineering (or equivalent Master Degree). Aeronautical engineer is an asset.
  • Professional experience: more than 4 years in Air Traffic Management related environment
  • A good understanding in Air Traffic Management (air traffic control, airport operations, airspace management…), ideally having worked for ANSP in relation with ATC and Flow Management Position (FMP) or Flight planning service providers
  • Experience in managing small to medium projects
  • Strong customer facing skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills
  • Adaptive, motivated and resourceful person
  • High level of spoken and written English and French, presentation skills
